Hi, I’m Adrienne. Welcome to the Beta Phase.

I’m a Gen X mom, new grandmother ("Glamma") and lifelong "figure-it-out" enthusiast. After years of caregiving, raising a family and navigating the corporate world, I’m now documenting the messy, beautiful reality of the Sandwich Generation from my home in Arizona.

My Story

The Long Version (Or, Why This Site Exists): They don’t give you a manual for this stage of life. One minute you’re building a career, and the next you’re squeezed between caring for aging parents and supporting your own adult children—all while trying to remember who you are outside of those roles.

I started AdrienneInBeta because I realized I wasn't the only one looking for a survival guide. I wanted a space that felt like a conversation with a friend who understands the exhaustion of caregiving, the joy of grandbabies, and the specific healing power of a dark TV thriller.

What You’ll Find Here:

  • TV Therapy: My honest reviews of shows that help me decompress. (Yes, I consider Mr. Inbetween to be self-care).

  • Real Talk: Unfiltered thoughts on faith, grief and aging without the sugar-coating.

  • The Stash: Practical tools and products I’ve actually used. If I recommend it, it’s because it solved a problem for me—whether that’s a resource for dementia care or just a really good weighted blanket that helped my mom.

The Credentials (Just so you know I’m real):

  • Education: MBA & MS in Psychology (which comes in handy more often than you’d think).

  • Day Job: Online ESL Teacher & Content Creator.

  • Current Status: Loading... please wait.

The Doctor Is In: Welcome to TV Therapy Rx

As a member of the Sandwich Generation, I know that your "me-time" is a rare commodity. Between caregiving and the chaos of real life, you don't have time to waste on a bad series.

I created TV Therapy Rx to be your filter for the noise. I focus on the gritty dramas, the high-stakes thrillers, and the smart writing that actually respects your intelligence. No fluff, no forced positivity—just the shows that are worth your 2 hours of peace.

Stop the scroll. Your weekend recovery starts here.
